Quick answer

Harp Isles Items and Rewards

Materials in Harp Isles come from three sources: pressing E on ground objects (moss, tar, mushrooms), attacking rocks and plants until a SHAKE! prompt appears (obsidian, rocks, silk, bones), or killing hostile plants and creatures (plant dart, flytrap leaf, meat chunks). Forging Shrines turn two materials plus 50 DNA into a salve or throwable; Smelters turn two materials into Research Vials, Advanced Research Vials, 450 DNA, or 3 Cores.

Evidence boundary: Every row below was read from creator footage recorded on 2026-08-30 and 2026-09-13 and analyzed on 2026-09-17. That makes it an observation of one client build, not a published rule. Material names were read from on-screen UI at 720p, so a spelling may be off; recipe amounts and station behaviour can change in any patch.

Where each material comes from

The Method column matters more than the location: several materials will not drop unless you attack the object first, and hostile plants have to be killed rather than harvested.

How to get Pearls

Pearls are the Ashes Awakening event reward — not a material you mine, and not a promo-code reward. Roblox’s official Part 2 event description states that players “slay the Dragon to obtain its Pearls and unlock these blazing subspecies”. The developer changelog entry dated 2026-09-26 records that the Pearls event had ended and that Pearls were removed from the shop and the HUD, and the Part 2 event window closed at 2026-09-27T03:00:55Z.

No second source of Pearls is recorded on this page. Dragon spawn locations, summon requirements, health values and Pearl drop counts were never published, so the checkable path stays the official event description plus the Pearl recording listed in the sources below. Read the current event state on the Ashes Awakening page, and the species Pearls were spent on in the creature roster.

Forging Shrine recipes

Forging Shrines are the broken white pod structures firing a blue-green vertical beacon. Each recipe below was shown costing 50 DNA on top of the two materials.

Forging Shrine recipes observed in creator footage
OutputMaterials
Webbed Tar ×11 Silk + 1 Tar
Hunger Salve ×11 Angel Fern Leaf + 1 Flytrap Leaf
Bacteria Flesh ×11 Silk + 1 Meat Chunk
Growth Salve ×11 Coglownut + 1 Silk
Healing Salve ×11 Medica' Mushroom + 1 Moss
Boomshroom ×11 Tar + 1 Exploding Mushroom
Mineshroom ×11 Moss + 1 Exploding Mushroom
Splintered Bone ×11 Bone + 1 Rock

Smelter recipes

Smelters sit over orange lava and fire a red-orange beacon. Their queue is shared across the map: opening a different Smelter shows the same progress. Smelting does not finish into your bag on its own — you press Smelt again at 100% to collect.

Smelter recipes observed in creator footage
OutputMaterials
Research Vial ×51 Angel Fern Leaf + 1 Plant Dart
Advanced Research Vial ×11 Healing Salve + 1 Plant Dart
DNA ×4501 Obsidian + 1 Deathcap Mushroom
Cores ×31 Obsidian + 1 Flytrap Leaf

Shop and bundle prices

Prices read from the in-game shop and bundle screens. Treat them as one build's pricing, not a permanent rate.

Cores are the premium-side currency and DNA converts into them in one direction: an in-game Currency Transfer screen recorded on 2026-09-07 shows 550 DNA = 1 Core. An earlier version of this page listed what Cores are spent on as unknown. That was wrong, and the rows above are the correction.

What to check in-game

Use these notes while you play, then follow the related pages for codes, rankings, tools, or route-specific help.

Currencies actually shown in game

Creator footage shows DNA, Cores, Research Vials, Advanced Research Vials, Avatar Shards, Pearls (event reward), and Revive Vials as separate holdings in the same UI strip. That list replaces earlier notes on this page that named a single "Tech Points" currency. DNA is the common cost; Cores, Vials, and Shards are the research and unlock tokens.

Where materials come from

Most materials are not gathered from a plant node with a pickup prompt. Three distinct methods show up in the footage: pressing E on a ground object, attacking a rock or plant until a SHAKE! prompt appears and then grabbing, and killing a hostile plant or creature for its drop. The table below records which method applies to which material.

Two different crafting stations

Forging Shrines are the broken white pod structures that fire a blue-green vertical beacon; Smelters sit over orange lava and fire a red-orange beacon. Both let you pick the same visible map filter, so the colour of the beacon is the only quick way to tell them apart before you arrive.

FAQ

Material and recipe questions

How do you get DNA fast in Harp Isles?

Creator footage from 2026-08-30 shows a Smelter recipe that turns 1 Obsidian and 1 Deathcap Mushroom into 450 DNA. The same footage notes the Deathcap Mushroom is reported not to respawn on a server after it is taken, so players farm it on low-population servers. The Ashes Awakening event missions were also shown paying 750–2500 DNA each.

Where do you find Obsidian in Harp Isles?

In the volcano region. It is a cube-shaped smooth black boulder, and you have to attack it until a SHAKE! prompt appears before you can grab it. Not every black rock gives Obsidian — the same footage shows columnar black crystal rocks that yield Rocks instead.

What is the difference between a Forging Shrine and a Smelter?

Both are map stations you find by a vertical light beacon. Forging Shrines fire a blue-green beam and turn two materials plus 50 DNA into a salve or throwable. Smelters fire a red-orange beam over lava and turn two materials into Research Vials, Advanced Research Vials, DNA, or Cores.

How do you get Research Vials?

Two ways were shown: smelt 1 Angel Fern Leaf with 1 Plant Dart for 5 Research Vials, or buy 1 for 350 DNA from the in-game shop. Research Vials are spent to fill Techtree skill slots, so this is the main bottleneck on the research loop.

Why does this page name different items than before?

Earlier versions of this page listed botanical and salve names we could not trace to any official, community, or creator source. Those rows have been removed and replaced with materials and recipes read directly from dated creator footage, with the source and timestamp for each row.
