Harp Isles Techtree

Recorded Harp Isles research panel guide: the Growth, Combat, Survival and Health tabs and the node names legible in filmed gameplay, with the costs and effects this project has not seen.

Harp Isles techtreeUpdated guide
Quick answer

The Harp Isles research panel was recorded with four legible tabs — Growth, Combat, Survival and Health — and node labels such as Weight 1, Swim speed 1 and Damage 2.

Names read off recorded research panels, plus an explicit list of the costs and effects this page has not seen.

Recorded tabs: Growth, Combat, Survival and Health. Recorded node labels include Weight 1, Swim speed 1, Hunger Drain 1, Water Drain 1, Damage 2 and Health Regen 1.

Research progress is paid with Research Vials and DNA rather than a single “Tech Points” pool. Basic and Advanced Research Vials are separate holdings in the currency strip.

Node costs, percentage effects and unlock order were never captured on camera, so this page leaves them out instead of estimating them.

Match your panel to the recording

Open your avatar's research panel, pick the tab you are looking at, and tick the node names you can actually see. This page lists names read off recorded gameplay — it does not know your costs, and it will not guess them.

What the recording does show

  • Four research tabs were legible in the 2026-09-07 recording: Growth, Combat, Survival and Health.
  • Node names are readable labels with a numeric suffix, not named perks.
  • A REBIRTH control sits at the bottom of the same panel.

What this page cannot tell you

  • How many Research Vials each node costs.
  • What percentage or flat value a node adds.
  • Which nodes are mandatory, or what REBIRTH resets.

What the recordings show, and what they do not

Each block below separates a name that was legible on screen from anything this project would otherwise have to guess.

1. The four recorded tabs: Growth, Combat, Survival and Health

The 2026-09-07 recording opens an avatar research panel with four legible tabs: Growth, Combat, Survival and Health. A second, independently recorded guide shows the same panel limited to Combat, Survival and Health. This page uses those four names. An earlier version of this page described three branches called Mobility, Vitality and Combat; no recording in this project shows those branch names, so they have been removed rather than quietly renamed.

2. The node names are readable labels, not invented perk names

The recorded nodes read as plain labelled values: Weight 1 and Egg Gestation in Growth; Swim speed 1, Hunger Drain 1 and Water Drain 1 in Survival; Damage 2, Bite CD 1 and Ability CD 1 in Combat; Health Regen 1 in Health. The same recording shows a REBIRTH control along the bottom of the panel. Community-maintained notes describe nodes levelling toward 3/3 and a completed section paying an Avatar Shard, which is consistent with the counters visible in the panel but is not something this project has measured itself.

3. What pays for research: Research Vials, DNA and Cores

Recordings show Research Vial and Advanced Research Vial, DNA, Cores and Avatar Shards as separate holdings in the same currency strip. DNA is the value most upgrade screens quote, while Smelters and Forging Shrines are the two stations that turn materials into vials. The exact vial cost of an individual node has not been captured on camera, so this page does not state one.

If you're stuck

Checks before you spend vials

  • Cannot find the panel? The recorded controls page lists the menu and radial bindings that open avatar and mission screens.
  • Short on vials? /wiki/items-and-rewards lists the recorded Smelter and Forging Shrine recipes and which one completes instantly.
  • Unsure which node to take? A node name that matches your own panel is worth more than a priority order copied from a guide.
FAQ

Common questions

What are the Harp Isles techtree branches?

Recorded gameplay shows four legible research tabs: Growth, Combat, Survival and Health. A second recording shows the same panel carrying Combat, Survival and Health. Earlier versions of this page listed Mobility, Vitality and Combat, which no recording in this project shows.

What do the techtree nodes look like?

They read as labelled values rather than named perks: Weight 1, Egg Gestation, Swim speed 1, Hunger Drain 1, Water Drain 1, Damage 2, Bite CD 1, Ability CD 1 and Health Regen 1 were all legible in the 2026-09-07 recording.

How much does a node cost?

This project has not captured a node's vial cost on camera, so it does not publish one. The panel itself states the cost of each node, and that reading beats any figure quoted by a third-party guide.

Do unlocked nodes reset when my creature dies?

Not shown in the recordings this page is built from. A REBIRTH control is visible at the bottom of the research panel, but what it resets is not established here — check the confirmation the game shows before using it.
